January is School Board Appreciation Month. The Ocosta School Board recently added two student representatives to the board. We want to introduce you to our junior representative.
Madeline Schaeffer is a junior at Ocosta High School. As an athlete, she participates in track and cross country. She has competed in state as a part of the Knowledge Bowl team and math team. She is on the AWSL Student Voice Network, along with other high school leadership groups across Washington. In her free time, she enjoys writing and reading literature.
