January is School Board Appreciation Month. The Ocosta School Board recently added two student representatives to the board. We want to introduce you to our senior representative.
Raymond Priest is a Senior at Ocosta High School and also does Running Start at Grays Harbor College. He competes in Cross Country, Track, and Knowledge Bowl for the Ocosta Wildcats. Ray currently serves as the school ASB President. On the weekends, he works as a line cook at Westport Pizza Company. Outside of school and work, you'll find him working on his car, heading to the beach, lifting weights, playing guitar with his little sibs, and cooking with his family. After graduation, he will be attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, studying Nuclear Engineering.
